About
Hey y'all! I'm Finn (they/them) and I am the maker behind Hop Skip Jump Vintage. I make clothing from reclaimed & once forgotten vintage textiles. I source from thrift stores (locally & on roadtrips), vintage sellers, and estate sales. Designing and reworking tablecloths, quilts, pillowcases, and bedding is the name of the game. Each piece is my unique & wearable contribution to make the world & your wardrobe a bit more sustainable.
I am a hairstylist by trade & have always been a creative and hands-on person. My great grandma Helen taught me to sew starting at age 5. I have her to thank for my resourcefulness, because she only let me sew using her quilting scraps for YEARS. I took a break from sewing for a while, but dived back in starting in 2021. Having a creative outlet that allows me to be introverted and enjoy my peace and quiet in the Ozarks has been such a blessing! Hop Skip Jump has a countryside vibe as a nod to my roots. Whether you wear your piece to collect eggs from the coup, commute on your bike in the city, or to frolic with your friends.. thank you for your support!
